Banyak masjid di Indonesia kini menggunakan teknologi ramah lingkungan seperti panel surya, sistem ventilasi alami, dan penggunaan bahan-bahan bangunan lokal yang mudah didapat dan ramah lingkungan. Ini tidak hanya membantu dalam pelestarian alam tetapi juga mengurangi biaya operasional masjid dan meningkatkan kenyamanan jamaah.
